Andrea Anders
Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was born in DeForest and now lives at Los Angeles. In 1993 she was a graduate of DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. She received the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001, she graduated with an MA in Fine Arts at Rutgers University. Anders was with Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until 2015. They dated on the filming of Joey the show that ended in a sitcom. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com), is her older brother. Anders began her career in the theater in 2001. She was a student of Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. In The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. Also, she was in On the Jump at the Arena Stage, New Doors at the Guthrie Theater as well as two New York Stage & Film performances: Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. Anders was first seen in Fat Pig at Geffen Playhouse on May 7, 2007. Fat Pig shut down on July 1, 2007, with her as the accountant Jeannie. Anders first appearance on television was in an Dannon advertisement which ran through the middle of the 1990s. She then appeared again around the year 2006. Anders is best known for her character Nicole Allen in The Class. She was the wife of a former football player, Nicole Allen. The actress was in every episode of both shows, however they were cancelled. Anders appeared in guest roles on One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light as well as Tru Calling. In 2003, she starred as Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. Also, she made minor appearances in The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather and Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders has also played Brandy in 2008's film, Sex Drive. Anders made appearances in two unfulfilled television pilots. Spellbound was one, and News To Me another. Anders His most recent performance was in Better Off Ted. This is a work-related comedy that uses a single camera created by Victor Fresco and broadcast on ABC.
